California, Victoria & David

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – here at B&G we love an international wedding and so, when David and Victoria got in touch with plans for their special day in sunny Sacramento, we couldn’t wait to see what they had in store.

These guys met back in 2016 at a Christian youth camp in Minnesota.  David flew in from Northern Ireland, Victoria from California. They went their separate ways on Valentine’s Day, but not before falling in love and resolving to make it work even with the Atlantic Ocean between them. After months apart, David made the most of Victoria’s first visit to the Emerald Isle by popping the question on the rocks of Giants Causeway. Of course, she said yes!

Onto the big day, and who better to capture a wedding under the California sun than our very own Californian, Joseph? The boss was on hand to catch every minute of what was a really gorgeous day, from the soon-to-be newlyweds holding back tears as they held hands around a corner before the ceremony all the way to their sparkling send-off.

After the sunny ceremony there was dancing, (break dancing, dad dancing, all the best kinds!), toasted marshmallows and a really great atmosphere as the party carried on way into the night. It was an amazing day, we shot a video to remember and Joseph even managed to drag himself home from California in the end… What’s not to love?!
